about my boost LS
hey guys im boosting my LS...im doing 8:5:1 forged pistons with turbo rods....and possibly cams and cam gears...my question is to you guys...is that should i do the cams and cam gears ..or should i just keep the pistons and rods...Im planing on puttong about 300whp??? so i was wondering wat your thoughts r on it....i was thinking about doing just rods and pistons but im not wuite sure...also if i do cams and cam gears should i invest in intake manifold and throttle body or is that also not that necesarryy...pleae help thank you
I have seen it done on stock head. I have seen alot of burnt up vlalves so I would rather have some stainless steel valves and new springs and retainers before the cams..or both at the same time. You are gonna have a pretty decent bottom end that will handle the boost to hit 300hp tuned properly.
