Default h22 swap with D/B series trans?

I've heard that you could swap an h22 into a civic and use a D or B series trans so that you don't have to deal with axle and trans issues common with an H22 swap into a civic swap.

Has anyone heard of such a thing? Is it easy?

there's the h2b kit you can use to mate a b-series tranny to an h22 motor.

But running the weak D-series transmission a quarter mile at a time vs on a daily driver is not the same thing. I would feel MUCH better with the strength of a B-series transmission on a daily driven car. Furthermore, MOST people who do H-series swaps are stepping up from B-series motors. So B-series transmissions are what they have anyway.

i guess you havent read much about why Bisi uses the D series transmissions tat he does. i can tell you it isnt cause htey are weak, or have issues holding up to his power levels.
