What connects to this????????? nobody seems to know that i ask
everyone i ask cannot give me a definate answer on what this fitting on my turbo connects to.. my old t3/t4 57e trim turbonetics doesnt have this.. but my brand new precision sc34 has one.
What does this bras fitting get connected to, and what does it do. thanks in advance

-so i would just hook it to the spout on the top of the wastegate???
-what about if i decide to put the profec back in..
-then what do i conect it to?
-can i just cap it off, or run it to my ge vaccum box?

You put it on the side of the WG, you should have two nipples, one on the side, one on the top, leave the top one open, connect the nipple on the turbo to the one on the side..

the boost source from the GE manifold is better. There is a pressure drop across the intercooler and if you take the boost source before the intercooler your wastegate will be opening too early.

Also not true. The source is alot more accurate at the turbo. Ive seen peoples boost spike because they used a vacuum source at the manifold. Pressure is equal through out the whole system.

No there is a pressure drop across the intercooler. The wastegate will open too early if the source is taken from the turbo. I've seen it before on my own car. With it hooked to the intake manifold it opened where the spring was rated for. With it hooked to the turbo it opend almost 2psi earlier.

you could be right. cause i have a 12psi spring in my WG and my WG opens at 10. and i have my WG hooked to that brass fitting on the turbo..

one spout on my wg is connected to my ge vaccum manifold.. they other was hooked up to my profec until i took it out.. now ther is nothing on it.. i dont need that source on the turbo, so i just blocked it off. thats ok right ?

yea i guarantee you will boost closer to 12psi if you change the boost source.

most intercoolers have a pressure drop of 1-2 psi at 10psi of boost.......I am not boosted yet but planned on powering the wastegate off of the charge pipe (using a CAI as a charge pipe, greddy BOV mounted on turbo up pipe)
yeah that fitting can be used for the wastegate. i also have a precision sc34 but i decided to cap it and run my wastegate from my vaccuum manifold.
if you wanted to put the profec b back in you could run the top port to the ebc and then the ebc to the comp housing if you wanted or you could run it to the vaccuum mani. either way.
the pressure will drop after the IC so i use a post IC source so the wastegate and boost controoler read the true engine pressure.
