BOOSTIN MY INTEGREA QUESTION
hEY guys i know im not in the forced induction forum but im asking the question in both....I was wondering i have a 98 itntera LS and i already have my T3 turbo setup with a equal length manifold and a the front mount...i have also a boost controller and turbo timer...plus i just ordered 8:5:1 pistons and also turbo rods with turbo cams and cam gears.....the thing that im just asking is wat size fuel injectors do u think would be needed to run..and also should i invest in a fuel rail and fuel pump and feul regulator or do you think all those would not be necessary do you think just the inejectors would be necessary please give me your feedback??? thank you
You'll need a pump (walbro 255), rail (aem, str, etc), and I'd probably go with 550 or 660cc injectors. If you plan on going bigger in the future (which nearly everyone does) you can go ahead and get 880 or 1000 cc injectors, b/c they all cost about the same.
well how is the car going to be used? i have a t3 kit that im putting on my LS this spring; my friends buddy who owns a speed shop and daily drives an 11.4 second stock block b16 turbo told me that i only need 310s for daily driving. but im only gonna be running 7-8 pounds. but if its not a daily driver you should get atleast 450s.
The size of the injectors is directly related to how much power you plan on making. You wont need a fuel rail unless you are going real big.
310s are too small, although depending on the size of that t3 at low boost, you might not need much more. I still would run at least 440's on a low boost mild setup.

Hey man i ran a tubo LS for a while. You can use 310cc's for anything up to 10psi tops. depending on how much power you put out at that psi. It all honestle depends on how much power you are puting out though. You might not make alot of power at 10 psi and 310's could be more than enough. At the same time you could put out a whole lot of HP at 10psi and you might need 550's Tuneing on the dyno is key man. Get yourself the 225lph pump, injectors and something to tune with like crom or some other managment system. Hope this helps
if you looking for a good engine contorl system, you'll get a hondata s300 a fuel pressure regulator, and 450 injectors out of a dsm. This set up supports up to 300 hp with a good tuning. you can keep the stock fuel rail, it can suppport 400+hp. ill try keeping the stock fuel pump theres an article on the homdata site about why too keep the stock fuel pump i read it and it makes sence.
now, if you realy getting the pistons and all the stuff that you say your getting, you can run 12 to 15 psi all day long with 550 injectors at the least.

what engine management do you plan on running?
-hondata is capable of tuning up to 1000cc injectors to run like stock. I would run 750cc if you plan on >10psi.
Is smog an issue for you?
Need more info on what you plan to accomplish and do with your set-up. People can throw out some dump #'s and you end up with a box full of crap.

This is what I'd say... Also look into Hondata. You should also tell us what you plan to boost and what horsepower you expect to get.

No need for a FPR unless you're making over 400 wheel, the stock one will be sufficient until then, or a little farther. I would go with Neptune if I had it to do over again, b/c it's got great features and with the cost of tuning, it's cheaper than Hondata. Gear dependant boost
yea i plan on having about 300 whp sooo i should just get rpob liek 450-550 cc injectors and jsut a wlabro fuel pump and i should be fine ...
