The B18A1 stock pump is $132 new at the dealer, but the newer 96 and up oil pumps are the same for GSRs and LSs and is only $92, and will fit the B18A1. But you will also need to buy the newer 96 and up lower cover for $32 or modify your stock lower cover to use the newer pump.
I own a B18A1 and I will by buying the newer style pump for $92 and try to modify my lower cover, but if that doesn't work, I will also buy a new 96 and up lower cover. The newer pumps are better than the older ones and even if you have to buy the lower cover, they are cheaper.

buy any obd1 vtec oil pump, they flow more than obd0-1 non vtec pumps. obd2 will fit, but as sayd above they require for you to modify the lower cover because of the crankshaft fluc. sensor.
water pumps; any b-series will work, but if you go to a vtec pump your going to need a vtec timing belt. its fine for you to keep the ls pump if your using stock red line

also, the reason i need a new oil pump is because i can hear a loud raddling sound in my head when the car is started up and cold. im assuming this is because theres no oil in the head until it warms up. what do you think?
No your way off. That is just because your engine is cold and the clearances are not as tight yet. Just check your valve lash and that should fix some of the tapping. It takes a few seconds for oil to fully circulate no matter what pump you have. Just let it warm up a bit
before going and buying a new oil pump, check oil pressure to actually know and not guess. a simple oil pressure gauge will do.
But as sayd above its most likely your valves.
