Default ? Stock GSR head on GSR or Type R

here is the pickle

i have a GSR wtih the stock head and a SKunk2 intake mani

my buddy has a type R head for sale, cams, valvetrain everything

would it be worth the investment to buy it or just build the GSR head?

i know putting a Pr-3 head on the GSR lowers compression...if there anyway i can get that compression back by using a thinner headgasket?

I may end up swapping out the pistons for P-73's...so i figure the pr-3 head makes most sense right now

You are a fool, all of your posts are just a jumbled mess of misinformation and bad grammar.

Type R Heads don't say P73 on them, they say PR3,

Anyways,
It depends on what you plan to do with your motor, I personally would just build the GSR but thats me. The Type R head will lower your compression .2, searching will give you more knowledge than you'll know what to do with.

stay in school!!

btw both type r and b16's are pr3's

back on topic: how much are you gonna get the r head for? if it's cheaper than building the gsr and your not getting to crazy with the build then i would go the less expensive route.

When you are posting scroll down, on the right side the "quote" button is available next to each individual post

Misinformation, bad grammar, spelling and punctuation all in one little post.
