You reset the ECU by pulling the ECU fuse and replacing it. Then let the car idle for 10-15 mins without touching the throttle. It's supposed to let the car relearn the settings, but I've never bothered to do it.

Pull the negative from the battery. Wait 5 minutes and then start up car and let it idle for 5-10 minutes. Pooface's way is better.

Does this also work to get that "Take into service light" from coming on every 6K? I tried on mine but it seem to keep coming back when I did the battery disconnect.

I thought there was button somewhere. Yoshi had good drawing of it if it's still on here somewhere.

The little service light is reset with a button just below the lower dash cover above where the drivers shin would be. If you just disconnect the box it will keep the little light from nagging you.

The 7.5A fuse is marked Backup (@ least it is that way on my Civic , Accord, and my friends GSR). That is the one to pull as well as the ECU fuse just to be safe. That also clears the radio code so be sure to have your code handy when you fire the car back up. Off course unhooking the battery does the same thing.....
