I don't see this happening. Not with stock displacement and a street motor, heck not even with a race motor. Volumetric effeciency can not be improved enough in that "stock" powerband to achieve 200whp. The only option is to turn that motor faster and build it so it maintains a high VE at the higher engine speeds.

That is an interesting question. I am pretty confident if you use a rev ceiling of 8200 rpm that 200whp can be achieved. Ill Wills dyno on here (granted it was on a Dynapack) showed @190 whp at 8000 rpm and @193 at 8200 rpm. Pretty impressive.

not 200 though...it hit the 200 mark @ close to 9K rpm....

For the rest of you, reread this ^^^ to understand

a stock B16 powerband makes peak power @ around 7800-7900 rpm.....way less than 9k rpm...

Youd have to make 129lb of torque @ 8000 rpm to do it, stock b16s dyno around 100whp, the question is why would you want to not rev it above 8200?

Taking my words out of context huh? The question was with regard to stock rev limit, and I said that 200whp would not happen with stock displacement WITH stock rev limit. I didn't say 200whp could not be achieved with stock displacement. Big difference their chief.
