Ignition kill?...not fuel kill (yes, i have searched)
hey guys. i want to install a switch on my ignition for a 99 teg as an ignition kill but have heard that theres two ways to do it. if u use one way, ur car can be turned on if it were to be pushed. but by using the other method, even when trying to push start the car, it would not work. i wanted to see how i would go about doing either of them. i have done many searches and wut im finding most are fuel kills. im not interested in killing the fuel line because its not as safe. if anyone can route me to a certain website that shows how to do it, thatll be awsome (but again, ive searched for hours).
any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

From: Good luck to this industry, you're gonna need it.
I've been in auto security for 9 years, I have never tried two different ways as you're speaking of. If you have a relay that cuts the 12v flow to the ignition wire, then I don't see any other way to do it...it's CUT! HOWEVER, you can make as many bypasses as you want. It's all knowledge, relays, wire and time. PM me if you want more info...
PS look into ghost switches, and multiple bypasses, but remember, you are depending on a relay...so if it goes bad in the wrong area or on a bad night...it's up to you.
