JUST LIKE IT SAYS I DID A SEARCH BUT CAME UP EMPTY HANDED I THINK YOU CAN USE A DA 89-92 TEG SENDING UNIT BUT NOT SURE AND WANT TO MAKE SURE FIRST BEFOR I" DO IT, DO IT" ANY WRITE UP WOULD BE AWESOME. ALSO IF YOU HOOKED IT TO A JDM CLUSTER IT WOULD BE THE SAME THING.............

you need the low fuel sending unit, its in integra gas tanks.

so, take a integra fuel tank, install it in your car, hook up the 4 regular wires, run the extra wire to your low fuel indicator light.

done.

(i have no idea if it will bolt in, or if it even fits, so dont ask, but i know thats how you do it from reading it in a thread a while back)

also, i found a shitload of threads by SEARCHING just now:

a teg gas tank will not just bolt in, nice thought but no. And your attempts to make him feel like a jerk for not searching are by no means any help. I don't know if you read those threads but they were as much as help as your reply was, NOT MUCH.

anyway 88cerx I have heard that the 90-93 teg fuel gauge does not work, a guy tried it and said low fuel light never came on. I have heard though that the pre 90's model I am guessing 89 teg? does work. I am just going to go to a junk yard grab one and give it a shot, as I too have come up empty handed so far.

i dont think you need the whole tank. cant you just get a teg or even an accord sending unit... the low fuel light should come on at an 1/8 tank regardless of the size of the gas tank. im not really sure but last time i looked they looked the same. asside from the one with the low fuel light had 4 wires not 3

hey man try it and forget what everyone else is saying. Then once you know you can post up your results and help other people out who are getting conflicting information. And if you find out before I do my gsr dash swap you can let me know too. I agree...it's there why not use it?!
