Default Exhaust Question

ello, wat i was thinking of doing to my muffler was to cut it open and strip the insides to get a better-deeper-sound and weld it back together, my question is if i'll loose any power or gain power, by doing that? 95 accord 4-banger

You won't lose or gain any power. It will not be deeper, it will just be louder and raspy, blatty and make everyone unhappy, especially you when they give you a ticket for it.

An exhaust is deeper when it has a long resonator and a straight through muffler that matches the exhaust size. An overly large muffler or unresonated pipe will not give you the results you want.

Stick to stock, don't change to mufflers or do anything to it. In the end you gonna regret it and wanna go back to stock. Thats how I feel now
