Quick question on stock exhaust...
My little brother just got a 95 eg that is bone stock. I also have a 94 eg that has a aftermarket muffler and no resignator on it. My question is is that if I trade my bro my muffler for his stock one will I lose alot of power and also my car with a stock muffler and no resignator will the exhaust be louder than stock. HELP

I have a DC sport header and cold air intake... If that would make a difference. I think that putting the stock muffler back on will give me more back pressure

When I got my resignator taken off I felt a pretty big difference in top end power.

i'm sure its all in your head. By simply removing your resonator and still just having stock piping you aren't going to gain ****. Maybe you gained .3 whp

yes you drive it, but have you dynoed it? I know that sometimes your mind can trick you into thinking you can tell a difference in power. Maybe the increase in sound makes you "feel" a difference.

hahaha. I wonder if that dyno was with stock piping or larger piping? I know with aftermarket catback exhausts that have a silencer you can tell the difference between having it in and not having it in.
