What is the most common thing to look for befor buyin a tarnny?

Mileage and any grinds when shifting or noises from bearings. These are all things you'll have to ask the owner of the tranny and trust them about unless it's still in the car and you're able to drive it to see for yourself.

If there is anyway to drive on before you purchase it do it. A lot of people get rip'd off with trannys.

yeah thanks for the advise...i wish i could find a tranny with it still in the car but every1 seems to rip em out and sell them lol wonder why right....thanks though

Miles, grinds, bearings, how it was used, etc. Basic things you would look for when you're buying anything on a car.
