Default makin Carbon fiber hoods bling bling
hey there guys how do you guy make your carbon fiber hoods as shinny as your paint do you guys think iw oulg be a good idea to have my carbonfiber hood clear coated please give me some input thanks

what happens if i do it, the way you replyed it sounds like it will melt of something will clear coating it ruin it at all

If you want the best protection for the hood you should clearcoat it. Then buff it out to a nice shine.

I got my Fiberimages hood clear coated. It looks much better. Here's some pics





The only thing is make sure the body shop does not put the hood in a bake room make sure it air dries.
