Anyone have any ideas why a boost guage would not work after a headgasket replacment?

Default Anyone have any ideas why a boost guage would not work after a headgasket replacment?

I replaced the headgasket and while doing it I pinched the plastic tubing. I cut it off and got a new compression ring. Installed it all back today and the guage reads nothing. Im 99% sure its not leaking. Anyone have ideas of why this is doing it? Autometer cobalt series.

possibly got trash in the line

i'd pull the gauge off and check where hte line attaches to the gauge
