Default Offset grinding an H22 crank: Discussion

Hey all,

I was looking into options of getting more displacement out of an all-motor rebuild. The three options I have considered were the H23 crank, F23 crank, and having an H22 crank offset ground. I've heard multiple times that the H23 and F23 cranks are not the best option for high-revving motors. So that leaves me with this question about H22 cranks.

How is it done? How much stroke can you get out of an H22 crank? Will it be reliable? How much does it cost?

Your thoughts?

H series cranks have the same diameter journals. You can get about 92.7mm out of a h22a crank reliably and rev to the moon.. Yes the h23 cranks are of a much weaker material not suitable for high revs.
