Default crank question

why is the h23 crank better then the h22 ? why do ppl rather put that in the h22 block ?

because longer stroke = more displacement = more potential power

If you search, you can find a lot more in depth info on it though. That his just the bottom line.

the h22 is actually probably a better crank than the h23

but the h23 has a longer storke of 95mm vs the 90.7 of the h22. with the h23 you have a worse r/s ratio so the rods have a better mechanical advantage on the crank so your able to make more torque. the h23 is not as well balanced as the h22 crank. aslo with more stroke you gain displacement. hope that helps
