Weird idling?
When I turn my car on for the first time in the morning, or after it's been off for a while it idles real high. Right around 3k rpm. After the engine heats up, the idle goes down and returns to normal. If I turn the engine off then back on, the engine's idle will be erratic. It will usually jump from about 2k rpm to about 3k rpm. It will stay erratic for about 5 - 10 minutes, then stop and it will ba normal.
Does anyone know what's going on, or how I can fix it?

I'm an Integra guru, but do your cars come with FITV's? (Fast Idle Thermo Valves)
Some model Integras come with it (depending on year/obd) and that will affect idle control during cold startups.

it has to do with the FITV.
if you take off the intake tube and look inside there are two holes
top one is IACV (i believe)
and bottom one goes to the FITV. When you first start the car (when its cold) put your finger over that hole, you should feel suction, if not then your FITV is messed up. Then once the car is warmed up (fan kicked on 1 time) put your finger over it again it should not be sucking anymore, if it is still sucking then your fitv is messed up.

btw mine idles at around 1500 when its cold (which is normal)
my FITV doesnt close all the way either, when car is warmed up i can still feel a slight sucking from that bottom hole.
