Default sleeving a b16a2

here is one i am having a lot of trouble researching. I have a b16a2 that i was getting ready to do an lsvtec on and then got into the rod/stroke ratio. since the b16 has such an ideal ratio, would it not make sense to sleeve and bore to 84mm's to achieve the 1.8. making it a reliable way to rev up and stay together. Please all info that can be given would be very helpful.
dave cheers

How are you planning on using the engine? Speedvision series, endurance racing, revving competitions and I'd put more importance on the R/S ratio. Street/strip work and I'd look into a lower R/S to give you some lower end grunt.
Get a B18A/B block and crank, resleeve to 84.5 (or more if you are going NA), a set of Eagle rods and let her rip.
