jdm EG stanley corners need help?
i got some. is it suppose to be a direct swap? cause the plug for the bulb socket is not the same i had to take the bulb and socket from my 93 2dr corner and put in the jdm one it would not plug? maybe i have the wrong corner can those be from a ferrio?
look at the bulb that came with your lenses. does it have one filament or two? you may have a jdm style plug which is meant for a single filament bulb, in japan the corner light serves as turn signal only, the front park lamp is the city lamp in the headlamp. anyway your stock usdm socket should fit into the lense just fine.
ok so it the right way you have to swap the socket and bulb from the usdm one into the jdm one cause the pin connector are different how comes this was never mentioned. the jdm is 2 pin connector place like a t
-l and usdm is 3 pin ---.
what about the fiting on my 2 dr one side as a bigger gap than the other btw the bumper and bottom of the corner is that normal or could i have one corner from a ferrio?

we all know that the jdm sockets are 2 wire and are not on while the parking lights are on, the only time it's on it when it blinks. but the usdm one is two way light bulbs which are on with parking lights and on when it blinks. just switch out the whole thing to the usdm light bulb socket and harness. if it doesn't fit then just wire it up the True JDM way.
thanks i already installed them and they work now.but there one thing that bug me one side sit in there differently then the other could i have one from a ferrio or that is impossible as they will not not mount.

Same for me. Although I have JDM clear corners.

thats probally because one of your sockets are weird? hehe mines went in perfect but i know what you mean because same thing happened on my 98 front end conversion on my integra, it sat fine before but when i switched the corners it wouldn't go in. what i did was changed it to another corner socket.

i think what he means is that the lens itself will not line up with the body panels correctly. in that case, it's very likely that he could have one from a Ferio. i would hold both JDM corners side by side with the USDM ones, and see if there's a difference in the curvature of the lens. if one looks different, then it's possible that it's a Ferio lens.
