I am having a few minor problems with my 95 Prelude. All of the following stopped working at the same time:

-dome light
-cigarette lighter
-INT setting on wipers
-the chime that tells me that my lights are still on
-rear defrost
-the panel where the vent control and temperature no longer lights up

I have checked all of my fuses and they are fine. I went to a repair shop and they want $144 just to look at it. I don't know anything about wiring in a car, but that sounded really high just to get an estimate. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

by looking at the wiring diagrams its most likely a problem located in the under-dash fuse/relay block. since all these problems occurred at once, thier obviously all related. if you would like me to send you the wiring diagrams so you can diagnose it yourself, email me at callisto_49@hotmail.com

 

I have the Exact same problem. I took my car to the mechanic and they messed it up when they hooked it up to the diagnostic machine. i don't know how to fix it either

 

hey guys its your radio wires.. i THINK its going to be either the ' illumation ' wire or the umm... constant one. just cut it and put a new fuse in and everything will work.. my car is dong the exact same thing ij ust havnt had time to cut the wire yet
