I'd look into a MOMO or a Sparco quick release. I'm a sucker for MOMO steering wheels, but don't like their seats. And a sucker for Sparco seats, but don't like their steering wheels.

Quite possibly the nicest aftermarket steering wheel I have EVER seen is the MOMO Driver. Its only like $375 shipped.

Yeah, or the MOMO Millenium Evolution. $275 shipped.

Here's an quick release from LTD Motorsports.

Carry it
If they won't let you carry your wheel around in school, just stick it in your locker or bookbag.
