Alright, what would you rather do. 1)keep a b18c1 and supercharge/turbocharge or 2)get a bored & stroked b18c that has 2400cc of displacement. The b24 makes 215 hp and 180 lb/ft of torque N/A at the wheels. I'm planning on doing a swap in the future, and I wanted your opinions. Thanks.
Oh, this will be a daily driven car that will be taken to the drag strip and track.

Do you have any more info on the b24 setup and price? Looks to be a bad *** setup. What is the redline? The hp looks a little low for 180 pounds of torque.
personally, i'd only bore my B18C. I'm not a fan of stroker kits.
And bored, teh biggest you'll get it is about 2.1L And that's pushing it.
-Brian, hopefuly an owner of a 1.9L GSR someday

To answer everybody's questions, the engine was made by R&D racing. It's the de-tuned street version. The rod ratio is pretty low, exact numbers were not given. The race engine makes 250 hp and 185 lb/ft of torque. The redline is between 8500-8800 rpm, the race engine redlines at 8800. The price is, well I don't know. I need to call them. (310) 516-1003
Anyway, the parts that they used are:
4340 forged crank
4340 forged connecting rods
iron sleves
gas ported, low-silicon pistons
larger steel valves, tuliped and undercut
ported and polished head
dual valve springs w/ titanium retainers
45 degree seat, three angle valve job
310 degrees of duration and .48 inches of lift for the cams
4-1 header
TWM intake manifold
Speed Pro engine mangement system
MSD ignition system
Might have missed something. I got the information from Sport Compact Car, August 2001.
