Default HELLLLP! Seperate the bell housing from the transmission???????????

I have my tranny out and i'm trying to put in the quaife lsd that I just got, but I cant get the bell housing to seperate from the bulk of the transmission. Any help would be very appreciated.

there is a snap ring on the top make you sure you get that out. it can be a bitch use needle nose pliers to seperate it.

To remove the snap ring/C-clip:

1. Place needle nose pliers inside the visible ends of the snap ring.
2. Spread the pliers apart
3. At the same time start trying to separate the bell housing from the other half of the tranny. Use a flathead or something similar.
