Hello, just wndering if any1 has the same problem as ME, and if so, any suggestiongs on how to fix it!

I have an ITR 2000 model, Yellow, and In Australia. Its approaching 130,000kms. Its my BABY! On HOT DAYS THE NEEDLE IN ON THE SPEED GAUGE/METER STICKS, AT ARound 0km-65km. Needle doesnt move until I reach around 60km/ph, OR When slowing down, MY need doesn't go all the WAY down and GETS STUCK AROUND 40KM MARK.

I Noticed that it only happens when its a hot day. Sometimes when I turn the air-con on, and after a while once inside the car is all cool, the speed needle works again. WHAT CAN I DO????????????

you should move to ireland mate & you'd never have a HEAT problem again

sorry could'nt help,may be speed sensor in gearbox rather than gauges though

 

Mr Vu, lets trade spedometers. that will solve your problem.

 

It could be your vehicle speed sensor. Mine use to do that before it went totally bad.

 

i think its the needle because when I hit my dash, it slowley moves to where is it suppose to be. can u still helP???
