ur a ******* dumbass if you are doing that on the public roads. (i know we've all done it before, but its still ******* stupid) do us all a favor and kill urself before you cost us a headache by stopping traffic when ur honda is strewn across a mile of highway. btw, plastic bag or glass jar? choose one to have your remains picked up and stuffed in. (i totally ripped that from the rock.) but they make ecu's that take it off if ur dumbassery is uncureable.

ummm

okay

well JDM ECUs cut out at 107 or 117 or something, so thats what you're seeing

you could get a US ECU, or chip that one and remove the limiter.

of coursereaching extreme speeds is not a good idea on a public road but everybody with a fast car does it some time or another. I asked a simple question, i didn't ask to have mommy step in and lecture me on speeding.

Get it chipped.
Use a laptop and a tune program and remove the limiter.

Its on there for a reason, by the way.

unless your hitting that kind of speed during your quarter mile run or autox'ing ur retarted. there is no point at all. anyone who does this and doens't hit like 117 or higher in a 1/4 mile run is just retarted. argument over.

You drive a honda, it's not a fast car. It's an econbox. I only hope you don't kill someone...yourself I'm not to worried about. If you crash and burn speeding like that you deserve it. Anybody does.

And to answer you question (saving my ***), You can either get it chipped, chip it yourself, or get a US ecu.(Although US ECUs do have a speed limiter as well)

I think he knows the consequences if he loses control of his car at that high of speed so if he decides to do it oh well, we cant do anything about it. He will just become another statistic.

Why get so heated over it?

CHIP IT.

US ecu speed limiter cuts off at 119mph. Whatever that calculates to kilometers/hour.

of course i know that going fast is dangerous, thats why if you decide rip down the road you do it on an empty strech so if you do expletive up then its only you that looses. This is a forum for asking questions, people should be able to get clean answers without getting raged on by lowlifes

Your car's slow and torqueless, that's why you can't go any faster.

Is it possible to "chip" a JDM ECU? Just asking.

yea would it even be able to go much faster even without the limiter? I mean.... to me it seems like the engine is just not able to make the car go any fast... shoot, me being an idiot tried to see how fast I could go an hit 110-115 (yes it was dumb and I am not going to ever try again) but that was hard to accomlish as the engine just has no power to make it go faster.
