im a new owner of a 05 blk s2k. ...damn these cars are fun.
anyways. my question is
will 17x8 +38 offset (frnt)
17x9 +49 offset (rear)
fit an s2k without problems. the car will be lowered on tein flex. and will be fairly low but not slammed.
will i have to roll fenders?
thanks in advance.

you'll need to roll your fenders....
people using bbk up front usually go with a 36 offset... or once they get the spacers in it ends up being equivelent to 36 offset.... but it's pretty much pushing the limit.... it's less then optimal...
as for the rears.. they'll work but they'll probalby stick out a little with a 9inch rear..... you usually want to be in the 50's to 60's offset on a 9inch rear..
keep in mind the stock offsets are 55 front 65 rear...

+38 is a little low for the front, your wheels might stick out a wee bit. +49 rear might fit, since 9.5 wides with a +47 fits.

those wheel offsets suck man...you can fit it..but u better raise it up with at least 2 finger gap all around....tire size should be 215/245 and you should roll the fenders ASAP!! the front offset should work great for BBK...

My Volks are 7.5in wide up front with a +50 offset and I rubbed quite a bit when lowered about 1 1/4in. The rears are 9in wide with a +63 offset and they do not rub at all. I drive very aggressively.
I guarantee that you will rub with these offsets if you lower the car at all. You may even rub at the stock ride height. Worse case scenario, if you put these wheels on the car, lower it and have wide tires, when you hit a big bump or a dip in the road, your tires may stick out far enough that the tire crashes into the fender and bends the hell out of it.
Buy some wheels that actually fit properly.
