As I get more serious about modifing my 94 coupe finding products of high quality at resonable prices become more and more difficuilt as many of you already know. Seems like Meganracing.com has many products for our cars including suspension and engine parts. What have been yalls experience with there products and customer service? Do yall agree on there pricing and quality? Any info on them or any other company you feel positive about would be highly appreciated.
Yea I wouldnt trust it. The guy at school wiht a body color matched aluminum wing and 'CELICA' on his front window was the guy with Megan Racing parts...

I must say that I don't agree with what this guy said.
There are a lot of stuff on the market today that carries quality material at reasonable prices. Example: why buy an AEM intake? That is just a piece of metal that cost 25 dollars with a sticker that cost 80 bucks. I find ridiculous buying AEM and DC stuff, because just because they are big and famous brands, they want to be so expensive. I think those companies should try to become more competitive by lowering their prices. If that would happen, more people would buy brand products.
Another example: unorthodox racing, man... that brand is expensive as hell, they don't make profit by the quantity of items sold, but by the price instead. That's why a lot of people buy the cheaper and underdrive crank pulleys.
I rest my case!

As far as I know it's an ebay manufacture (if that's what you would call it) and my buddy has a b18b header and it looked great and sounded good too, quality is pretty damn good especially for 100 bucks shipped.
Like all things in the 'tuner world' there are replica's that are decent and ones that are shitty and from what I have seen the meagan racing ones are decent.

I beg to defer.
AEM did all the dyno in house to 1)make the most horsepower 2)make sure it fit 3)make sure it pass smog
sure, aem is more expensive but i am sure all the guys that got aem product can vouch they are complete and aem totally stand behind their product.
If you have the chance to go the the plant in Cali, you'll be impressed too.
I went "inside" once(for a weld job for my ic pipe), they got a all modified scion before it was released month ago.
and what the other guys did? they just paid spare change in china or taiwan and copy they product. You got a bad weld on the intake? too bad.
you got problem with fitment and you want to call them? too bad.
did i mention the smog and carb eo number?
if aem or injen stop making intake for the new vehicel(for example, the new civic), i bet there's no intake even in ebay, because they got nothing to copy.
you get what you pay for

I dont agree with that, ive seen plenty of cars rockin megan racing products like s2000,eg's,240's,toyotas some of them have been full on show cars to your everyday drivers. You wanna talk about funny names how's about spoon, blitz, trust(greddy) those are funny names but still produce top quality products.

Megan Racing is like OBX, it's a hit or miss thing. Sometimes there are good batches and sometimes there aren't. I've heard both ends of this topic. Do a search on the forum for Megan or OBX, specially in the Civic forum. And yes, to a certain extent, you do get what you pay for but also, the no name brands are starting to somewhat step up their Quality so it is getting better than back then.
Off-name companies can copy the originators of a product to a "t". It is the lack of expense of research that makes these products appear cheep. You can choose to stand behind the companies that actually create the products and pay more or buy the knockoffs and pay less. (Much like burning a copy of an artists album instead of buying it).
but i hate theves..... but i would never pay a premium for spoon wheels ect...
