Default Engine..pistons questions.

Sup fellas, I just got done removing my gsr head today. Look at the valves on the head and everything seem normal. Headgasket looks good, since there are no crack or anything. But how do you check to see if you have a bad ring on the piston? The wall is perfectly smooth.

The reson why I took off the head is because I did a compression test and it was 200 135 175 200. Leaky radiator one after another. There is no smoke coming out of the exhaust at all, no milky oil/coolant. Gas mileage went down dramatically to 250mptank. Enging lagging between 2-3,200 rpm.

Pour oil in cyl 3 and 2 and 3 went up to 175 and cyl 2 went up to 225. Could it be the piston ring after all guys? Someone please help me.

did you do a leakdown test? this could rule out the valves and then id say you need rings, how many miles on this engine??

102,000 miles. I really doubt it the valves, because it sit great, but I probaly pour some alcohol on it tomorrow and see if it leak through. No I did not perform a leakdown test..which I should have. If it is indeed the pistons then why aren't blowing any smoke at all whatsoever..and could it actually cause leaking radiator and cause the coolant to pour out of the radiator cap whenever I rev on the engine? Last but not least, is there any way to check out the piston ring with the head off of the car?

You should have done a leakdown test before dissasembling the motor. The oil test does not lie though. Your rings are shot.
