15" rims, can i fit 215/50/15 tires on them?
Should be no problem for the rim. Lots of people run 225/50/15 on 15 X 6 in D Stock autocross, so 215 on 6.5 should be much easier. Whether they will rub is a whole different issue.
225/50 is really too tall, and kind of makes the gearing wonky. 215/50 would do the same thing, just not quite as bad. If that matters to you, keep it in mind.
haven't found a good tire in the size yet. i have s-techs with kyb agx's. i don't want to rub in the rear, that's why i'm asking. it doesn't have to be 215/50/15, i was mostly askin about the 215 size of the tire, it'll give me better traction right?

A taller tire would give you taller gearing. That may cancel out any benefit from the little bit of extra rubber. Also, the compound of the tire will make a bigger difference than the size. A 205/50 Azenis for example will be much better than a 225/45 all-season.
What are you doing with them? Neither the Azenis or ES100 is anywhere near an all-season, and both will suck a ton in any kind of snow. For which one would be better for you, that all depends on your purpose.
You're still going to want a 205. And really, even if you looked hard, finding a 215/x-15 tire is near impossible. BFG KDW will also not be so hot in snow. I picked up some Falken Ziex 512s for cheap, and they're a pretty decent all-season. Not horrendous for dry weather either. Try http://www.vulcantire.com

I agree. I went thru one set of 225/50/15 V710s for the front, and am now back to 205 all around. The extra width isn't enough to justify the taller gearing, extra weight, and extra cost. Not to mention tearing the hell out of my fender liners...
If Kumho would make 225/45/15 V710, that would be a different story...

I know some manufacturers have R-comps available in this size, but I'm not sure which ones. Bummer that the V710 isn't one of them.
