Default behind the firewall..

i was drilling a hole through the firewall on the passenger side of my 99 civic to get a amp wire going. went through the wall and then something else.. liquid was spraying out everywhere as if there is high pressure. it was oily and clear. i was thinking that it was freon. possibly i hit the evaporator? could anyone tell me what i have damaged? the red circle is where i drilled..

The evaporator is in that area...

Have you tried running your air conditioning?

if you looked just 2 in. lower from where you drilled there should be a big a$s gromet you could just easily pop out.

good luck with it!

No. With no refrigerant in the system, the compressor will not engage.
