Camber question!!
I lowered my 97 ex with some h&r springs (1.75 front) (2in back) and now my tires are wearing from the inside.. well my question is do you guys think i need a camber kit or just go and get it aligned ???
Thanks in advance

well it depends on how much camber you have now. are you running stock shocks? cause if not, then i'd suggest you change out the shocks first because blown stock shocks will lower just a tad more. so if you get it aligned and then change out the shocks later, you may end up with positive camber and you'll have to go to the alignment shop all over again.
but on stock components and lowered springs, you'll need a a camber kit usually. you can only adjust the stock components to get just above 1 degree of adjustment. and that isnt too much.

When I lowered my civic with skunk2 springs I bought the camber kit at the same time. I replaced my uca's with the skunk2 uca's and never had a problem with the camber. Trust me, if you can put the coilovers on your car, you can put the uca's on. My steering wheel was just crooked. But 2 days later, A dude in a lincoln towncar pulled out in front of me and I hit him at 40 mph. Car went into shop with crooked steering wheel, came out with perfect steering wheel.

well my last car had coilovers, and i had to get a camber kit, but this car has springs and its not as droped as my last 1.. all i was told was to make the toe 0 or close to it... and when i did that on my last car i never had a ware problem.. well i be able to get toe to 0 with stock components.. i have stock shocks just h&r springs??

That's because it needed an alignment, if you knew what you were doing when you installed them the steering wheel would have been straight, or at least damn close.
