I got a question for you guys, I have my Sol lowered on Neuspeed Race springs w/ stock shocks, the drop is 2.25" front & 2.0" Rear. I'm getting alot of tire wear on the inside of my tires, the outside seems to be brand new. I really don't know a whole lot in terms of the camber/toe adjustments. Heres a few pics, lemme know what you guys think needs to be done, camber kit or alignment, or both. Thanks.

hell yeah man....you need a camber kit and after you install it have an alignment shop set it up all nice....they can adjust alignment, camper, toe, caster....blah blah but u definately need a camber kit. also neuspeed race with stock shocks is not good at all...invest in some shocks

yup, you need a camber kit, my tires look exactly like that right now...i just got my camber kit earlier this week, and will be installing it hopefully today

camber is the hondas worst enemy so find a good camber kit and install the ******* thing, best out is a company called spc

Which camber kit would you guys recommend? I've heard of the Skunk 2 and the Ingalls, either of those better than the other?

negative. bad toe cause more wear than camber.

btw ive been running the ingalls kit on my 93 hatch for over 2 years. its been doing great except for after a couple months the bushing starts to squeak. i just spray wd40 on it until it squeaks again.

your wrong they cant do anything about camber thats why people buy camber kits.

but they can fix your "toe in" problem, wich will fix your tire wear problem. i dont think your camber is bad enough to need a camber kit.

if you can afford one go for it, but i dont think you are in immediate need of a camber kit

SPC upper control arms with built in balljoints are better than both ingalls and skunk. I've never read about anyone's SPC balljoints failing, unlike skunk2. Oh, and as for the ingalls, you have to repress your existing balljoints into their arms.

Your toe is what is killing your tires. With a good drop you might get -1.5 degress or so wich is a good thing. Bad toe will eat tires with the quickness. if you are running much more tha -2.0 you might consider a camber kit but really you are not so extreme that it is going to be that bad, toe is the killer, remember that. And yeah, a $60 alingment will fix you right up.

when i got my springs installed (skunk2 race springs) the mechanic that did it for me, knew this washer trick, cause there is little if any camber problems with my car and my current tires...maybe if put some rims on it i could tell better, but i dunno thats what i was told

You can only use washers for the rear camber. The front you need an actual camber kit.

Go to an alignment shop and ask for the print-out to see what your numbers are actually like. If you have less than -2.0 degrees of camber, then I wouldn't even bother with a kit; just have them center your toe.

Negative camber is my Honda's best friend. 0 degrees handles like ****.
