Hi!
I did a little bit -o- searching and the like and I really don't know the answer to this still. But what exactly does the vtech do? I see it has something to do with the valves and timing but thats all I know...
I am a bit of a new person to the car thing. I have a 1993 Honda Civic Si... I haven't really done anything yet... Hah... i bet you get these posts all the time, ah wells

First it's Vtec. Might wan't to change that before people start going off on that. It's a variable valve timing that uses hydrolic pressure from the oil to "lock" a third rocker arm assembly that becomes "locked" into contact with a much more agressive cam lobe profile then before.
