Default Eliminating Motor Movement

Sup guys,

When I gas my hatch at lower speeds the whole car starts bucking--threre's extreme movement which I think is the motor/tranny moving around the engine bay causing the car the buck. I'm thinking the motor mounts are responsible for this. I put windo-weld in the front lower two mounts and it was good for a while but now the bucking is KIND of back or maybe I just got used to the car not bucking as much as it used to and now smaller buckings are problematic.

So to get to the point, how do I completely eliminate motor movement/bucking? Anything that I can do besides the motor mounts? As far as the motor mounts which one is the most important (I'm thinking the rear one but I'd like someone to confirm this)?

Thanks all!

Try some Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, completely eliminated my motor movement. Also check to see if any of your mounts are ripped or cracked.

did you put inserts in all 5 mounts?

i'm thinking my rear mount has problems... like i said i have the front two mounts windo-welded which is basically like an ES insert maybe a little softer... but with rear mount giving way the fronts can't hold too much i guess... i like those jimfab ones but i'll put those once i get a swap..

No, the ES inserts only go in the 3 torque mounts. (A/C, lower front tranny, bitch(rear) mounts)

I have them and absolutely love them. HOWEVER, when you put in solid mounts like the jimfab or hasport mounts, you will get a hole heap of vibration from your motor. So if you are willing to sacrifice the quietness of stock mounts then go for the sold mounts.

I have a little bit more vibration that stock, I can't really tell you cause I've had a fucked up idle ever since I put the inserts in (long story) and the vibration from the fluctuating idle is really bad.

Yeah, I think that rear mount is a major with car jerking issues. How hard is it to remove it?
