Ok I just got a driver side axle seal from the honda delaership and i was wondering if there were any good writeups on how to remove the old seal, and seat this new one in properly?

Thanks for any help!

Don't start threads with How-To: that aren't writeups. That's annoying. Do you have a helms manual?

That is one of the most straight forward things ever.

Take out the axle.

Take finger/screwdriver/whatever and pull the seal out.

Put some grease/oil/spit/whatever on the new seal edges, and push it in.

About 5 min job. Just be careful not to push to hard or else youll have to pull it out and do it again.

If you use a block of wood, it will push flush right where you need it for the trans case.

Youll know. Theres like a dip/grove type thing. Youll feel it set but its so light that if you keep pushing itll pass with the blink of an eye.
