15" or 16"...which is best
i cant find this on the search so...i plan to get a new set of rims...would you guys recommend 16's or 15's...15's are nice because tires are cheaper...but 16's look better but a little more from the wallet on tires...what would you guys recommend on my 6 gen hatch???Thanks in Advance!
If you want show and go rims then 16 would probably be better but I would recommend 15 cause the car rides way better. I have some 99 gsr rims and they ride really good. I love the turning compare to the 17s I used to have.
16x7 w 215/40/16 tires
maybe 215/50/16 OR 225/50/16??
Do you guys know any tire brands that carry these in 16'? And which are longer lasting?
BTW, go with 16'......you already have 15', why buy another set of 15'?

Good things (15"): Cheap tires, nice acceleration, lighter, and cheap
Bad things: Where's the bling?, more sidewall
Good things (16"): Mucho bling, smaller sidewalls
Bad things: Acceleration lacks, heavier, more expensive, tires more expensive.
sounds like 15's are better, but I dig 16's

i find i get better traction under boost with 16's (205/45/16) - i was using 15's before (195/55/15) and it wasn't too fun to drive when boost arrived
I guess it really all depends on your engine mods, and what you want to use the car for.. for me, its got to be 16s (unless I was running NA)
