Default running rich at idle on hack

ok i'm aware not the best fuel management but it's what i have. ok rich at idle 11-12:1 plx-300 new. turn fuel pressure down 30psi to fix but lean up top 12.5:1 at +20% on 450's. ok can i change the 6 in/6 out to run stock fuel pressure and fix my afr, running only 8-9 psi. anyone??

Why did you bother to touch the fuel pressure regulator?!?! Use the AFC and trim down the fuel at idle so it's stoich, that way you don't have to lower fuel pressure and choke the engine up top with lower fuel pressures. wth are you doing. lol.

-50% at idle that's why i turned down the fuel pressure. at -50 i now have a highe afr.

From what Ive worked with on the AFC hack, its settings @ idle were always wack compared to that of the rest of what Id tune for. I think I was at like -24 (dsm 450s 14b sohc) and then like the rest of the settings were like -36ish. Weird stuff.

You'll be lucky to ever get it to idle right. I couldn't get mine to idle correctly with the VAFC and 440cc injectors. It ran great when air temp was 50F, or colder. As soon as summer hit, it sucked. There was nothing I could do to make it idle right. I even used the "old one" mod of the stock regulator, where you drill a very small bypass orifice into the stock reg. It helped a bit, but it was still never right.

thanks for the comments. i know the hack isn't the best but it does offer adjustability that i control with wideband readings. i guess with gas $ the way it is i just wanted good mileage when not ******* the **** out of it.

edit- Boondock Saints is 1 of my top favorite movies. i tell people who have never seen it it's the best movie you've never heard of. domine et fili patri spiritu sanctu BANG!!!

I tuned a friend's integra using the afc before and it wouldn't idle leaner than 12.0:1 at idle with the afc set to -50%. He switched to uberdata and i tuned it and now it runs great. Ditch the afc
