p/n for driver side axle seal?

Default p/n for driver side axle seal?

Hey I am trying to get a driver side axle seal for a 98 gsr tranny.



is #19 in that image the axle seal? They call it #19 the OIL SEAL so i wasnt sure if that was the part i needed or not...

goto autozone it about $8 bucks or less. or goto a local parts store.

i called advance auto and asked for a "driver side axle seal" for a 98 gsr. They said they did not carry it at all.

Do they know it by a different name?

well, the part number mentioned above is the exact same part number for a 92-95 civic (and i'm assuming 96-01 as well)

so yea, i bet it is the same for an LS tranny. Just call your local acura deal parts dept. and double check if you feel uneasy about it.

Its all the same for honda until you get to the bigger stuff (like prelude, K series, etc.) But D and B series should be the same seal.
