What would the best location for the car battery be to extend the life of the battery?

1. In the stock location in the engine bay?

2. In the hatch surrounded by Subs?

Even though the Yellow Tops are "vibration resistant", it still can't be good for them. But which would be worse, the Vibrations from the engine or subs, not to mention the heat of the engine.
I recall many cars out now have the Battery in the trunk near the spare tire and what not...
