Default Gettin Ready to Turbo

ok i have a D16Z6 and I wanna turbo it soon and i want to know an estimate on how much it would cost and what i would need. I have a list on what i think i need here it is.

Greddy Turbo Kit T3/T4(of course you need the turbo)
Uberdata Tuning
Piston Rings
ARP Head Studs
Greddy Front Mount Intercooler
so anything else you want to add to it that i forgot its welcome. im thinkin im gunna need about 2G's for it all.

well have fun trying to find a greddy t3/t4. they dont use that type of notation for their turbos.

also, are you really gonna take apart the engine just to replace the rings? might as well redo all the internals while you are in there.

as far as price goes, there is no way to really estimate it. the components you get will probably be dictated by your budget. you could easily spend $1000 on just an exhaust manifold or you could spend $200. turbo parts vary in price greatly. just depends on how much you are willing to spend and how much power you want to make.

ive seen a few homemade turbo kits get by on $2K but i doubt you will get by on that, unless you use all used parts. dont forget fuel components, wastegates, bov etc.

yea the bov and waste gate is in the turbo kit well thanks for the help i guess. my budget is only 2k but now that i think about it. i could just build up the motor and then if i want a turbo i could just slap one on there i guess.

do a lot more research, pretty much anythign n/a will not work with a turbo set up first off, and 2k is not nearly enough to put together a decent turbo set up

If you're going to re-ring your pistons, might as well save some money and rebuild your block first.
