Just a sort of rare question that I couldn't find an absolute answer to in the search engine. I bought a front clip H22 from Japan about 18 months ago, and now that the engine is completely ready for the winter, I'm going to purchase new brakes.

I want to know if I can convert the control arms from the 95 JDM Prelude and bolt them up to my 94 Civic EX. The reason being (as you probably already know), the calipers are much bigger and much more efficient. The rotors are much larger and it would perhaps allow me to use Prelude axles on my swap (if they're not long enough).

So without cutting, welding, or breaking a bunch of things, can this be done. And if so, does anybody have a writeup on it?

Yeah, actually it'd be a really nice upgrade, but I forgot that the Prelude front setup has 5 lugs, making my wheels incompatible. I have Axis Lenso VPD wheels and they discontinued the production of them, so I think I'm just going to do a rear disc conversion and buy the following:

Powerslot Carbon Black Rotors (for 16"+ wheels)
Hawk High Performance Pads
Stainless Steel Brake Lines from IL4
Maybe a new master brake cylinder...

Whadda ya think?
