Default First job with my new Lincoln 3200 HD

I started fitting my turbo stuff on and I didn't really like the fitment of the wastegate. I guess it was designed for a d16a6 because on the z6 the wastegate hits the upper radiator hose housing:

Here is what I did, like it says here I hope it clears the hood. When I tighten it down it will go down maybe 1/8 of an inch, so fingers crossed.

I welded the inside and the out. I did the inside for a just in case, because around the outside on the ends I had to worry about the threaded bolts hole and I ran a smaller bead with alot less heat and as you can see from the heat marks it looks like I didn't get as much penetration as I would like. Tomoroows task will be porting the inside of the 2 bolt flange. Looks a little rought in there.

How do you like the welds on the mani? Looks like alot of undercut to me. This, I was told, is an old school revhard race mani. If you think the outside looks bad you should have seen the inside. I have a few hours logged porting this thing. Think it is about time for a ramhorn style manifold.

keep your mani...serioulsy. the oldschool revhards KICK ***

****, just look at RLZ, howard ran a 10.1@144 on 100octane pump wiht his 1.6L using the same mani (b-series though...)

that thing held the record for a long time...no point in changing it to some overpriced heatsink
