How long until I can pass an emissions test after pulling ECU back up fuse?
if it is a obd 2 car it will take a week to 2 weeks because the monitors have to run, such as the evap, misfire moniters, but that is in california. If it is a obd 1 car just drive it for a day and your fine
according to some manufactures one drive cycle is 50 key on and off signals.
but if you are in GA then just take it to peter...lol j/k! hook up a scanner and take it for a drive, obd2 should not take more than a quick drive to Macon or Atlanta
or hell go visit peter and tell him i said wassup!

Honda considers starting the engine cold and driving until it's warmed up then shutting it off a drive cycle.

I just did mine in my Si. I was able to hook our Matco scanner up every day to check on the readiness status. The longest system to clear was the EVAP system. It took me three days, roughly 50 miles of drive, and about a dozen key cycles.

this always does the trick... for our texas inspection machines anyhow

This may vary from the problem you are having, but this technique worked for me with Maryland emissions testing (OBD2 Scan):
I had just finished converting a jdm motor to OBD2A. I was throwing code 90, because I had a small wiring problem and I broke the nipple off of the two way valve, on the gas tank, which is part of the evaporative emissions system (EVAP).
Any way, I thought I had everything fixed, and the CEL came on the day I was going to emissions. I pulled the fuse on the side of the road. I did some research, here on HT and tried a technique I saw. Basic you need to turn the car on and off three times and drive about 30 miles. I did this:
Pull Fuse. Start motor. drive 10 miles. Turn off motor. Start motor. drive 10 miles. Turn off motor. Start motor. drive 10 miles. do your emissions test.
What this does, AFAIK, is give the ecu enough information to go through its preliminary checks and everything should look fine to the ecu; at least for a little while. Good Luck

In PA I was allowed 2 systems to remain unchecked, so I reset the ECU and drove 40 miles.
They passed me with Catalyst and Evap incomplete.

WRONG
it takes 5-8 minutes at 50mph to clear...

i pre-checked my mustang, found one of o2's was screwed up, replaced it, reset the computer, and passed it the next day at the same shop. a lot less than 2 weeks.
this is in CALIFORNIA too.
did like 4 or 5 drive cycles on it.
