my gsr run really slow after i spray it with water
hey if u guys can help me out n tell me wuh is wrong wit my motor i would really appriciate it. well this is what happen i was spray engine degreaser into the motor bay. then wash it off with water and started my car, now it run like crap. my vtec doesnt kick and the car is extremely slow. any ideas??
are you missfiring?? which feels like the engine is shaking like crazy.
if so then one or more of the cylinders isnt sparking cause probably water got to one or more of the spark plugs... or you got the actual distributor wet... just dry it all as best as possible... then let it air dry a lil while then start it up.

1. Always: cover your distributer when you spray your engine compartment with water...
2. Also do you think you sucked up water into the intake /cylinders...
3. Are you flashing any codes

OR...use compressed air to get the majority of the water out and then use a halogen floodlight to get the last drops out cause the heat from the light will dry it out. (remember the compressed air probably has a slight bit of moisture in it unless you have a device to take out the moisture - like for painting) The lights heat will get rid of that.
