Default HID Bulb Positioning ?

I just wanted to know how does the HID bulb sits on the USDM Projector Headlight.
What do I mean? well, I'm talking about the little brown tube that runs parallel to the glass part of the bulb. I want to know which way does the brown tube ends up once the bulb is inserted inside the projector:

A) the brown tube is facing the outside part of the car (fender side)

B) the brown tube is facing the inner part of the car (high-beam side)

C) the brown tube is on the top

D) the brown tube is on the bottom

Thanks in advance for any input on the matter guys

One more question:
What is the difference between the D2S and the D2R HID bulbs?
I know that the D2S are made specifically for the projector headlights but in terms of length or light output, is there any differences?

They are the same length, but you will get more output with the d2s. About a 400lumen difference.

9005 bulbs only fit one way into the projector light so its not like you can decide which way the tube thingy faces.

The brown part is supposed to face down..Thats how they sit in a HID Projector housing. Do a retrofit so they end up in there correctly...
