Default Go Kart

Just wondering if anyone has ever made something out of their old engine after swapping in a new one. Like a D series go kart or something. I tired to search but the search server is temporarily unavailable.

Hey wantboost, definitely let us know how it goes. I would love to do something like that

Boosted go kart at 200whp with a turbo d in the back. That thing would fly. But I bet it would stick to the ground awesome too since it sits so low. Keep me updated.

i guess it would be best to just get a written off civic, one with none salvageable title then you would have all the suspension, brakes, and wiring you would need.

How about a D-powered dune buggy. I believe that all you would need would be a crx with a d series motor and just strip it down to the frame, fab up a mount system, weld in a seat (w/racing harness) and put the pedal to the floor. I'm positive that there would be more to it but i think that it would be a little bit safer than a go cart. And you could still boost with a FMIC and all. My $.02.
