Default Holy questions!!!??

Ive done a bit of that good ol google searching and i wanted someone to confirm it. Is it true a d series motor keeps a civic at a lower center of gravity than a b swap thus increasing handling?

i think the difference wouldn't be significant. i would think that changing to delsol seats would make a bigger diff due to the fact that they sit lower, for EGs at least

lol well i guess del sol seats could give you a better feel for the road but i meant that the d series sits a bit lower in the engine bay so it could lower the center of gravity but i think that info might have been wrong i dunno now lol

i think it depends on the actual engine. the b18 blocks are lower to the ground compared to a d-series, but they also have more mass above the block. b16 i'm not sure of.

the difference isn't so much how low the center of gravity is, its more how much weight is in front of the front wheels. the B weighs more period, and that is why a D would out handle it if the cars had the same suspension. Now with a properly built suspension, a B swapped car can handle every bit as well as a D series car.
