turbo gsr stock internals 1/4 et
i'm trying to get a idea what a gsr turbo hatch runs with 7.2 psi and up tuned with hondata..stock internals...what is the limit of boost..size of injectors etc?..

Your E.T.'s will depend on alot of different factors but, 350whp is achievable. Tuning is key. I've had great luck w/ stock LS longblocks (One high 11 sec car and the other a low 12 sec. car)

9-10psi(T3 .42/.48) on the 12 sec car and 13psi on the 11 sec car out of a lil' bigger turbo. YOu can do the same to a B16 or GSR though. I tune my own cars and alot of time was spent getting them to run strong and Safe.

well you arent really limited to psi, you have to look at hp. i would say 300hp and a good tune would be a fairly reliable setup on a stock gsr. different turbos will make different amounts of power at the same psi level because bigger turbos flow more air than the smaller ones.
as far as 1/4 mile times they are gonna vary so much its hard to say. depends on power, weight, suspension setup, tires (slicks?) and most importantly driver.

lol. well my main point was that he shouldnt worry about how many psi he is running and look at hp instead

I know, I was just meesin' w/ ya. While we're on the " don't worry about XX PSI" topic we should also let you know that sleeves do not fail do to a certain "PSI". So Electronbluehatch, if someone tries to tell you this they're full of ****!

Re: (hondaguyef)
i agree with what has been said, 300whp is a good number for stock bottom end any thing over that is pushing it. it will take roughly 12-14 pounds to achieve 300whp on a stock gsr motor, but boost means nothing, its just a reference. the hp number is what counts. a injector around 550or 660 or so, will be all u need. estimating a et is very hard, but trap speed is a different story, 300whp on a hatch should put u at around 115-118 mph range at the traps, regardless of your et.

like we have been saying. a particular psi doesnt equate to a specific hp. a bigger turbo will make more power at the same psi level.
