we are running Golden Eagle mfg. HD blocks in our cars with o-ring groove(copper 18guage o-rings) headstud torque to 70-75ft/lbs... we made a little over 800 and have no gasket problems thus far.

i think its more common to "lift" the head and leak a little boost into the water jackets rather than blowing between cylinders.

Have you been having issues when you start to run 50-60lbs of boost.

Damn b-series!!!

With my H-series at stock bore running cometic i blew 2 this year. Well not really blew, but like mr. john said it just leaked boost into water jackets. I'm running 30lbs of boost and torqued head studs to 105lbs. This is an H22 though

I think i'm going to try an oem gasket w/copper spray. See if that works.

spray a few good coats on your stock headgasket. i spray like 3 thick coats on my gaskets, then let the copper spray dry, then install.
